the Team USA NW paddock was an attention magnet all weekend.

many times race officials, racers, and seemingly random strangers, who saw me wandering with camera and Team jacket - voiced their thanks that the team had made the effort to be there, which was awesome -

and I simply said thanks for having such a kickass race - we are honored to be here....
